Golf Charles Second In Germany
KAISERSLAUTERN (Germany) Aug. 27 The left-hand golfer, R. J. Charles, of New Zealand, lost the Woodlawn Club open invitation tournament at the N.A.T.O. air base at Ramstein to Max Faulkner of Britain, in a play-off Charles and Faulkner hac tied for first place with totals of 273. The play-off resulted in Charles receiving a second place prize of about £350. Faulkner received about £7OO TEMPLETON LADIES* CLUB Championship qualifying rounds, 36 holes—Senior: Miss M. Boyce 181.
