Tests In Bombing And Landings The first of this year’s series of five bombing and landing competitions was held by the Canterbury Aero Club at Hare wood on Sunday. The competitors all flew the same aircraft, in which they were accompanied by one of the judges, Mr B. Webb, a flying instructor. The ground judge was the club captain (Mr G. Davidson). Results were:— Senior. Bombing: E Meredith. 7 2 points, 1; W. West, 66. 2; G. Davidson. 64, 3. Landing: N. Pethig, 83, 1; G Davidson and W. West. 79 (equal) 2. Junior.—Bombing: D. Lord. 66 points, 1; W Mauger, 63, 2; N. Gardner, 37, 3. Landing: D. Lord, 87, 1; W. Mauger, 79, 2; N. Gardner, 74, 3
