Early Town Halls
The article on early town hall proposals for Christchurch, printed on Saturday, was incorrectly attributed to Robyn Jenkin. The writer was R C. Lamb, who continued a historical survey of Christchurch town halls begun bv Miss Jenkin in an article printed a week earlier
In the last paragraph but one in Mr Lamb's article the date of the rescission by the Christchurch Citv Council of its 1913 decision to build a town hall should have been July 5, 1920 not 1962. The errors are regretted.
