Miss S. Finneran. of Los Angeles, broke her own world's record in the women's 200-

metre butterfly with a time of 2mtn 30 9sec. and M. Rose (Australia! equalled the world's 200metre men's freestyle record in the Far Western swimming championships yesterday. Miss Flnneran’s previous record was 2min 31 2sec. Rose tied the world mark of 2nun o.4sec, set earlier this year.
