Mass Murder Charge

A German tourist was arrested at Bologna last night on a German warrant naming him as a former Nazi major who ordered mass deaths in Russia during World War 11. Erhard Kroeger, aged 58. was locked up to await extradition to Wuppertal. Germany. the Associated Press reported.
An arrest warrant from Wuppertal said Kroeger must answer for mass executions on Russian soil in 1941.
New Commander—President Kennedy today named Rear-Admiral' Thomas H. Moorer to take over command of the United States Seventh Fleet in the Far East. He will succeed Vice-Admiral William A. Sehoech. —(Washington. August 20.)
