S.A. Engineer’s Invention

The world’* first do-it-yourself tombstone kit is on sale in South Africa, says the “Guardian.’' Selling for £7 10s. the kit is expected to upset traditional monumental masons, whose figures usually start at 10 times this figure. Consisting of fully interlocking paving stones, headstone and plinth, and a border. the kit can be assembled by an unskilled man in ’ less than an hour, according, to its Wventor. Mr Kensleigh Walter, a Johannesburg civil engineer.
