(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) TOYKO, August 21. The Indonesian Foreign Minister (Dr. Subandrio) and the Japanese Foreign Minister (Mr Masayoshi Ohirai today signed an agreement tor Japcn to extend a loan to Indonesia.

The Japanese Foreign Ministry said the loan would be 21.350.000 United States dollars. Of the total, 6.250,000 dollars would be used to build a bridge. 8.500.000 dollars for a bamboo pulp plant and 6.600,000 dollars for a dock.

The Foreign Ministry said Indonesia would complete deferred payments either in dollars or sterling by the end of March. 1969. The bridge under partial construction will cross the river Musi in the Palembang area in southern Sumatra.

The bamboo pulp plant would be constructed on the eastern coast’of Java to produce 30 tons of paper a day. The dock would be constructed at the port of Surabaya.
