Timaru Unbeaten, Reaches Final
(N.Z. Press Association) GORE. August 22. Timaru Girls' High School and one of the teams from Gore High School will meet tomorrow in the final of the South Island secondary schools girls hockey tournament. Today. Timaru with four wins, was assured of winning section A. In section B. Gore High School A was held to a draw by Linwood and is one point behind the school's B team. They will play tomorrow to decide the winner of section B. Results were:—
Third Round. Ashburton Technical 1, Christchurch Girls I: Darfleld 4. James Hargest 0; Timaru Girls 4. Queen's High 1: Gore B 4. Ashburton High 0; Gore A 5. Sacred Heart 0; Linwood 3. Rangiora 0.
