It was hoped that the Maori Education Foundation would set aside resources to undertake research into education as it affected the teaching of Maori children, the foundation’s board of trustees was told today. Mrs Miraka Szaszy, representing the Maori Women’s Welfare League on the board sdid that the league felt it necessary for the foundation to act according to the conclusions reached after undertaking research on all aspects of education of Maori children.
