Six Games At Rangiora
Some of the Town v. Country matches postponed from the annual Country Day fixture at Lancaster Park on August 11. because of unfavourable weather and ground conditions, will now be played at Rangiora Showgrounds this Saturday Six matches will be played, three of them being Town v Country fixtures, while the other three are North Canterbury representative fixtures. Three Town v. Country matches will be played between teams from the under 20, under Bst 71b and under Gat 71b grades In the other matches, the North Canterbury under 16 side will play Canterbury under 15: North Canterbury under 20 will meet Canterbury under 18; while North Canterbury seniors will meet a Christchurch senior club side It is likely that the senior match will be against Belfast, who is seeking a hard practice match in preparation tor its senior relegation fixture against Lincoln College, from the senior reserve grade. Matches will begin at 12.15 p.m. with a senior game starting at 2.45 p m Country Rugby players selected to play for the under 20. Bst 71b, and 6st 71b teams against town in the matches postponed from August 11 are now asked to attend at the Rangiora Showgrounds to play the matches this Saturday. Players in the tat 71b and tat 7!b teams will report at 1130 a m. and the under 20 players at 12.45 pjn. Players to bring own gear except jerseys. —Advt.
