Mr E. J. Batt was reelected president of the Public Service Association at the annual meeting of the association yesterday. The sitting members of the national executive, including the two vice-presidents. Messrs A. R. C, Williams and R. F. Hannan, and the general treasurer, Mr L. J. Fitzgerald, were also re-elected.—(P.A.) Mr B Matonoha, Czechoslovakia's Charge d'Affaires in Wellington, and Mrs Matonoha will return to Prague in September. His successor is expected to arrive in Wellington at the end of September. The second secretary of the legation, Mr O. Svihalek, and Mrs Svihalek. who have been visiting Prague, will return to New Zealand at the end of this month.—(P.A.)
