High Marks For N.Z. Cadet
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. ,13. The youngest cadet to leave New Zealand on a scholarship for H.M.S. Worcester, John Redd, of Wellington, came top of his form last term and was presented with a telescope by the Queen last month. John was only 14 when he left Wellington in March. 1961.
His markings in mathematics and navigation totalled 645 out of a possible 700.
