FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation.—An anti-cyclone lies over the Tasman Sea with a ridge of high pressure extending on to the South Island. A depression lies to the northeast of New Zealand. Forecast:— All districts.—Moderate to fresh south-westerlies about Banks Peninsula and the Marlborough coast with isolated light showers; light to moderate variable winds and fine weather elsewhere; moderate afternoon temperatures.
