Otaki Scholar’s Visit
year's Otaki Scholar. Cc.lin C. Lamont, aged 13. will arrive in Christchurch on August 16 after having visited Blenheim. Nelson and Greymoutih. Lamont, the nineteenth scholar to visit New Zealand, will stay with the rector of St. Andrew's College (Mr I. T. Galloway). The school captain of Robert Gorden College. Aberdeen. he will go to the University of Aberdeen on his return, and will specialise in English language and literature. Lament is company sergeant-major of the college’s combined cadet force and has won his colours in hockey. He is a member of both the college orchestra and debating society, as well .as being sergeant of the 27th Company of the Boys’ Brigade in Aberdeen. He will leave for Dunedin by air on August 18.
