Hogget And Ewe Sale
There was an almost complete clearance of stock either at or immediately after the Grand National ram hogget and registered ewe sale held yesterdav at Addington Show Grounds. The safe was the thirteenth in the series. About 150 Southdown ram hoggets were sold at prices ranging from 3 to Tens, and three pens of SouthdownBorder Leicester cross ram ioeg...s were sold at 51 to ojgns. AU of the 30 heavy-woolled and heavy in-lamb Romney av.es from Mr Frank Chittock's Rose stud at Lincoln were sold at auction or immediately afterwards for 12J to 27gns. Fifty Southdown ewes of
various ages from Mr F G M Cooper -Dunsandeli realised from* 2} to 7gna. Ten English Leicester ewes made ssns each, and two pens of Border Leicester ewes were not sold
