Ordeal For Rich New York Race

The New Zealand trotter. Ordeal, has entered the 50.000 dollar International Trot to be run at New York’s Roosevelt track on August 18. the “New York World Telegram" reported today. Her owners, Mr and Mrs W. A. Bradley, of Courtenay, brought Ordeal to New York recently with the idea of impressing the Roosevelt officials enough to gain an invitation to enter the International, the newspaper said. They accomplished their mission when Ordeal had four victories in her five most recent starts.

Date Change For Amberley

The Amberley Trotting Club has been granted permission by the New Zealand Troitting Conference to change the date of its annual nontotalisator meeting from September 8 to October 13.
