BREAK AWAY INJURED
Result Of Fall On Tuesday
Break Away stifled himself when he was squeezed for room and fell at the third last fence in the Beaufort Steeples on Tuesday. Although the injury cost him a start in the Lincoln Steeples on the final day of the Grand National meeting, it is not expected to keep him out of action for long Break Away's Te Rapa trainer. J. R. Nash, said yesterday that he hoped to have the horse fit and ready to contest the Waikato Hunt Cup at Te Rapa in October. Breakfast, an acceptor for the Styx Hurdles, will represent the Nash stable at Riccarton on Saturday.
