CHARGES ON FERRY
Method For Animals (N.Z. Press Association) BLENHEIM. Aug. 5. He was replying to local representations on charges for the cartage of stud stock on the Wellington-Picton ferry service. “It is hard to quarrel with the department’s argument that the same basis of charging should be used for all classes of cargo, although in the light of experience it will obviously be necessary to make adjustments. "The actual charge for a horse box cannot be determined finally until an actual box has been designed and its measurements known.” Mr Shand said.
