430 Billets Still Required Another 430 billets are still required for students taking part in the universities’ annual winier tournament which will be held in Christchurch next week. The tournament controller. Mr S. Carryer. said that only 120 billets had been offered for the 550 students who would be coming to Christchurch.

Several public appeals have been made and the tournament committee was also trying other means of finding billets. Former graduates had been approached but that had yielded only five new billets. Present students had been canvassed and the result would not be known until this week, but it was hoped that sufficient offers would be received to make a substantial improvement in the position.
