Standard Ins. Building
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL August 2. The Standard Insurance Company’s Invercargill building. which has stood about half-finished in Esk street for many months, remains unsold, the company liquidator (Mr H. S. J. Tilley said today. The building, in the heart of the city’s commercial district. was offered for sale by tender in April, Mr Tilley said an attempt was still being made to negotiate a private sale.
