Many spectators left the ground long before Ute finish when Taranaki scored its second Rugby win over Wanganui, and its third of the season, by 27-6. at New Plymouth today Taranaki led 19 to 3 at halftime and looked like scoring a runaway victory. Taranaki was generally more impressive for most of the first half but the team was unable to press home to the full its advantage. The one bright spot for Wanganui was the magnificent hooking of A B. D Kitto, who outhooked the North Island reserve. J. Major M Wills. P B Mac. B O'Dowda and K. P Hurley scored tries for Wanganui. B Keith converged three and kicked two penalty goals, and Hurley dropped a gaal. For Wanganui. C. L. Pierce scored a try and kicked a penalty.
