Cancer Deaths In World

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) GENEVA. July 18. The United Nations World Health Organisation said today that more than 2 million people die each year from cancer, one of the few deadly diseases which is increasing in spite of the grow-th of medical science.

A W.H.O. paper released in Geneva reported that more than 5 million people were suffering from cancer and that for every cancer patient there were four or five more with some form of precancerous disease.
