HAND-KNITTED IN HERRINGBONE STITCH.—This is the frock in charcoal and blue-grey herringbone stitch made by Mrs R. Clark, of Dunedin, for the New Zealand Wool Board's national hand-knitting competition. The facings, lapels and bias trims were all knitted by hand. The frock took Mrs Clark more than three months to knit.
