Bull Saves Farm
(N.Z. Preus Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, June 26. The municipal farm at Wolverhampton had made its first profit in nine years, thanks to Tim the bull, the “Daily Mail” reported. Before Tim’s arrival the farm had lost £13,000 in nine years. Then Tim came. Last year the farm made a profit of more than £lOOO. There were 433 cows and Tim. Sixty-five of the cows calved. For two months Tim—full name Downton Hall Dasher—was suffering a back injury and “your committee was greatly concerned,” said the municipal farm committee chairman. Mrs Jessie Beddoes. “But Tim made a wonderful recovery and clearly proved that no back injury could stop him.” she said. “From that time on the farm income recovered because of the calf sale*.”
