U.K. Climbers’ Plans (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, June 26. Twelve British climbers, led by Sir John Hunt, will join six Russians in attempting the 24,590 ft “Peak of Communism,” Russia’s highest mountain, it was announced in London. Sir John Hunt outlined plans for the expedition to the remote Pamir range, in Central Asia, at a press conference. He led the British expedition which conquered Everest in 1953. Anatole Ovchinnikon is to head the Russian party. The main British party will leave for Moscow by air on Saturday.
