Rugby Manager For Wallabies

Mr Jack McLean has been appointed by the Australian Rugby Union as manager for the forthcoming Wallabies’ tour of New Zealand. Mr McLean, aged 50, is a former president of the Western Australian Rugby Union and is a bank manager at Leichhardt, Sydney. He won the managership after an inter-State postal ballot. Mr McLean has had a long association with New South Wales country football, both as an executive officer and selector and is the New England district delegate on the New South Wales Rugby Union. He won the ballot from six other candidates, some of whom wil Icontest the assistant manager’s position. ALTERATIONS TO DRAW Under 15.—New Brighton v. Hornby at Rawhitl 1, at 1.15, will now be played at South Park 19. Under 6st 71b Seven-a-Side Tournament.—-Additional team. Burnside 2. Under 6st A.—Suburbs v. Merivale A at Spreydon' Domain. 11 a.m.. will now be Suburbs v. Bumside A, Spreydon Domain. 11 a.m. Under 17.—Marist Xavier College, at Gamblins road. 1.15. will now be played at Burnside 1 at 1.15. —Advt.
