Riccarton Club To Meet Board

The board of governors of Riccarton High School decided yesterday to meet a deputation from the Riccarton Amateur Swimming Club to discuss use of the school pool by the club In a letter to the board, the club expressed regret at the earlier decision to allow it only two days’ use of the pool each season.

A scheme for enlarging the school library was being drawn up, the Education Department advised The school would have an “open evening” on July 26, the headmaster (Mr A. J. Gainsford) said.
