TOWN PLANNING OBJECTIONS

Ninety-six counter-objec-tions have been received by the Waimairi County Council to objections to its district planning scheme. The largest number of counter-objections relates to the siting of a service station on the corner of Jacksons road and Fendalton road. Other counter - objections relate to an industrial zone in Cranford street and a commercial zone in Lindsays road. Only eight applications have been received asking to be heard in support of the district planning scheme. Applications close today.
