Further Remand On Assault Charge

A further week’s remand was granted by Mr A. A Coates. S.M.. in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland today to two men. each charged with burgling the Drury Post Office on June 7. and assaulting Constable D P. Pomeroy with intent to avoid arrest or facilitate flight after committing burglary. They are Graham Toby Clark, aged 22, a restaurateur, and Roger McMahon, aged 26. a fork-hoist driver.
