Licenses are available for any number of years up to five, except for drivers required to produce medical certificates, who may renew for one year only. The license fee is 5s per year. With the exception of renewals. which require medical certificates or a driving test, licenses previously issued by the Tawera County Council may be renewed by mail, provided the following are forwarded to the County Office, Christchurch: 1. County Clerk. 9097 SELWYN COUNTY COUNCIL RENEWAL OF MOTOR DRIVERS’ LICENCES Drivers’ Licences which expire on June 30, 1962 may now be renewed at the County Office, Hororata. Holders of licences previously issued by Selwyn County Council may renew by post, provided the current licence is enclosed together with the prescribed fee of 5s for each year of renewal and a stamped, addressed envelope for return. Licences may be renewed for any number of years up to five. Personal application must be made by drivers required to produce a medical certificate or holding licences issued by anv other Local Authority.
