Last Generator At Roxburgh

INZ Press Association) DUNEDIN, May 22. The eighth and final generator at Roxburgh power station is expected to be tested and in commission by the middle of next week. Testing would start next Monday, the Electricity Department’s district engineer (Mr 11. J. N. Paterson) said today. When the machine had completed its trials the Roxburgh station would be at its full designed generating capacity of 320.000 kilowatts.
