£500 Grant For Foundation
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 20. The Auckland City Council has decided to make a grant of £5OO to the Maori Education Foundation, any further grant to be reviewed in 12 months’ time. The foundation originally asked for £5OO a year for three years. The council at first refused the request, then referred it back to its finance committee after hearing a deputation from the foundation.
