Camp Chapel Was Church

The chapel to be dedicated at the Methodist Leigh Camp on April 15 was the Methodist Church at East Eyreton. It was moved to its present site at Loburn about a year ago and has been renovated.

The roof was removed before the old wooden church was taken by road to Loburn. Methodists in the Kaiapoi circuit assisted in the removal and they, and teams

organised by the Leigh Camp Trust Committee, worked on the renovation.
