League Referees Seek Law Change

Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, April 5. The New South Wales Rugby League Referees’ Association last night decided to seek a law change permitting hookers to strike with the furthermost foot only. A full meeting of the association decided to ask the N.S.W. Rugby League to consider bringing the matter before the Board of Control and the International Board meeting in Auckland this year. The referees want the rule adopted locally if rejected on an international level.
