Women’s Bowls MRS SETTER WINS AGAIN

Champion-Of-Champions ( N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, March 21. After a tense and exciting final at Roxburgh today, Mrs C. Setter (Wellington) became the New Zealand women’s Bouding Association’s ohamplon-of-et>ampdonß for the second time in three years.

In the final, which was not decided until the 32nd end. she defeated Mrs R. Perigo (Manawatu), 16-15. Mrs Setter came through the tournament unbeaten. She won the 1960 title at Timaru.

Results were:— Fifth Round.—H. McLaughlan (Southland) 18. R. Ryan (Waikato) 13; E. Doak (East Coast) 20, H. Oakley (Nelson) 14; R, Perlgo (Manawatu) 23. J. Ryan (Auckland) 19. Sixth Round.—C. Setter (Wellington) 24, McLaughlan 18Perigo 14. Doak 13, Final.—Setter 16, Perigo 15.
