HOLME STATION EWE FAIR
“The Press" Special Service TIMARU. March 21. Between 9000 and 10,000 sheep were yarded for the last ewe fair of the season at the Holme station yesterday. Most of the entries were in fair to good condition, but lacked the overall bloom evident In previous South Canterbury fairs. Values were.—Early shorn four and five-year ewes: best. 40s to 475. Medium: 35s to 395. Plain and small: 25s 6d to 345. Late-shorn four and five-year ewes: good. 29s to 345. Medium: 25s to 28s 6d. Plain and small: 16s to 245.
