ORIANA ONE DAY EARLY

Sailing Date Advancetl (N Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 21. Many intending passengers may “miss the boat” when the liner Oriana calls at Auckland on April 4, the Union Steam Ship Company fears.

A spokesman for the company, which is agent for the P. and 0.-Orient Line, said today that scores of tourists —including Australian travel parties at present in New Zealand—were apparently under the impression that the ship was due here on April 15. “We can’t get in touch with some of these people," he said, “so we’re hoping for the best ” The Oriana is due from North America by way of Honolulu and Suva on April 4 and will sail at midnight on the same date for Sydney on its way to the United Kingdom.
