New Twist Record
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 18. A twist marathon which began in a Wellington dance hall at 11 a.m. on March 12 ended at a coffee bar at 2.40 pm. on Friday. The organisers claimed a new world record set by L. Ryan (Auckland), who twisted 99hr 39min for a £5O prize. Runner-up was G. Mclntyre (Wellington) with 9Ohr 54min.
