Company Newt Record Turnover By Hills Ind.

Directors of Hills Industries. Ltd., Adelaide holding company for the Hills hoists and television group, say turnover in the six months to December 31 last was a record for the organisation for the first six months of any trading year. New Zealand and United Kingdom subsidiaries recorded satisfactory results during the six months. New Zealand manufacturing is expanding and diversifying along sound and well-planned lines, they say.

Interim dividend is 5 per cent., maintaining a steady 10 per cent, annual raite. The dividend does not apply to stock units exchanged for shareholdings in the newly acquired subsidiary, Natel Service Holdings, Ltd.
