INTERNATIONAL CLUB
L. W. Watkins will be the Canterbury representative in the boys’ section of the lawn tennis tournament currently being organised by the International Club of New Zealand. He will travel to Wellington for the Dominion finals on Saturday, where he will play off with the Auckland. Wellington and Dunedin winners.
In the semi-finals played this week Watkins beat P. Boatwood, 7-5, 9-7, and R McCutcheon beat G. G. Ford, 6-2, 6-1. McCutcheon has defaulted the local final as he has to travel to Greymouth to play in the postponed finals of the West Coast junior championships
