Polo SAVILE CUP MATCHES

Rain Cancels Play (NZ. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 7. Heavy rain caused the cancellation of play after only one match on the third day of the New Zealand Polo Association’s Savile Cup tournament at Morrinsville today. The next three days will now be crowded with fixtures. Five matches, including the semi-final of the cup between Kihikihi, the holders, and Taupiri, will be played tomorrow and four matches on each of the following two days. The final of the Stead Cup may have to be played on Sunday. In the one handicap match played today, Hawke's Bay defeated Matangi, 22-18.
