FRIED CHICKEN, served with a tossed dish of green peppers, mushrooms, onion rings and tomatoes lightly fried in oil, makes a meal for a special occasion. Green peas and baked potatoes should be the accompaniments. Only very young and tender chicken should be served this way and fried in oil very slowly. For "afters" a piece of cake and a glass of milk are suggested here.
