DAIRY TRADE PROSPECTS

N.Z. Tour Of West Africa (N.Z.PA.-Reuter—Copyright) LAGOS (Nigeria), Feb. 12. Two representatives of the New Zealand Dairy Production and Marketing Board now touring West Africa said yesterday that they were impressed by the potential for trade development in the area. They are Mr Hugh Jones export sales manager for the board, and M- J M Bottomley. survey officer Mr Jones said they were impressed by the fact that there was a demand for such products as milk powder to offset protein deficiencies in diet. They would be meeting Government and business interests to see how trade could be developed on a cooperative basis. Mr Jones said that New Zealand already did more than £200,000 worth of dairy trade with West Africa annually
