VIOLINIST ARRIVES

Yehudi Menuhin’s Concerts ( N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 12. With two Stradivarius violins in one hand, a typewriter in the other, the world famous violinist, Yehudi Menuhin arrived at Wellington Airport this afternoon for concerts in Wellington and Auckland One of the violins he nas had since he was aged 13. the other he bought two years ago. Accompanying him was his sister, the pianist. Hephzibah Menuhin, who will play with him in sonata recitals, his wife, and his sister’s husband and small daughter. “I have wonderful memories of my previous tours here,” Yehudi Menuhin said, "but the great event of this trip is that Diana has come with me.” referring to his former ballerina wife.
