Rise Of £l.Bm In Half Year
Outstandings of Finance Corporation of Aust., Ltd., Adelaide, rose by £l.Bm, or 11.1 per cent, to £ 17.9 m in the half-year ended December 31.
Profit was higher compared with the previous six months to June 30, and the December half-year of 1960 directors state. Group net profit for 1960-61 had risen from £226.805 to £263.251 Steady 5 per cent, interim dividend takes £83,902. Full rate has been 10 per cent since 1954. The Bank of Adelaide owns 40 per cent of the ordinary capital.
