Motor Racing Wins Speedcar Championship
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 28 I. Holden, of Auckland, drove brilliantly to win the Australasian speedcar championship at Western Springs on Saturday night. Holden built up a good lead early in the 15-lap final, but was forced to drive to the limit to hold off a strong challenge from R. Goonan. Results:— Final: 1 Holden 1. R Goonan 2. L. Nutt 3. J.
