Social Studies. — A modified social studies syllabus for primary schools is being studied by about 100 teachers at a refresher course at Ardmore Teachers’ College. Head masters and teachers from all types of schools from Northland, Auckland, Hawke’s Bay and Taranaki are attending the course, which will end this week. — (P.A.)
