Clear Lead To M. Paterson
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 22. Although he was badly outmanoeuvred in the afternoon race. M. Paterson, of Auckland, holds a clear lead in the Tanner Cup yac l ' 4 '-? contest being held on Wsltemata harbour at haven. Paterson won the morning race (the second in the series) by a margin of ijmin, but came fourth in the afternoon. Progress points are:— Auckland 249.00. WanganuiManawatu 183.33.
