Contaminated Milk
At Camp
Milk contaminated with a staphylococcus organism caused nine cases of food poisoning at a rally and camp in North Canterbury last week Health Department officer* are trying to discover whether the contamination was of human or animal origin. The nine person® affected have now recovered. Last week there were also five cases of tuberculosis and five of infective hepat’tia notified in the Canterbury health district A suspected case of typhoid proved not to be typhoid. a
