First Peppers
The first of the season’s outdoor green peppers from Nelson were sold in Christchurch produce markets yesterday for 50s a case They are on sale in city shops for uo to 9s a pound The first chillis and egs-fruit from Nelson sold for 22s a case in the markets. Esg-fruit was 4s a pound in the shops.
